P-394 TELEPHONE RECEIVER connector to VICTROLA: identified as "W-E No.622-W Loud Speaking Telephone Receiver", shown in the 1924 Central Electric Co., Chicago, catalog. Originally described in the catalog as follows: "Adapted for use only on Victor phonographs. To use this speaking attachment all that is necessary is to remove the reproducer from the tone arm, insert the tone arm into the receiver (using a rubber tube coupling) and connect the receiving set in the same manner that a head set would be connected." The sound coming from the telephone is then amplified through the internal Victrola horn. This is an original item and has not been tampered with nor tested. A new rubber tube coupling is included.
