N-120 Sapphire Shank Stylus for Edison DD Records  FINALLY AVAILABLE! These Sapphire Pointed Needles are made especially for playing Edison Diamond Disc records on 78’s phonographs whose sound box (reproducer) can be rotated to the position for playing Pathe and Edison DD records.  The points are made of fine quality extra hard Ceylon sapphire, the best and hardest sapphire that could be obtained at the time of manufacture.  Each is accurately ground to a smooth, slightly rounded point, exactly fitting the grooves of the Edison records.

PLEASE NOTE: The “SAPPHIRE Shank Stylus” has been “CAREFULLY INSPECTED” and comes in an original envelope. Therefore we cannot make exchanges nor refunds. Today these needles are hard to find. They are original, never used old stock and are no longer being made.  With care, each needle can be used for years. Swiss/American made.

CAUTION: It is recommended that the sound box containing this needle be gently lowered on the record to prevent damaging the sapphire.
