P-239 Original 78s MOTOR – never used – still with its original packing. This is the No. 4 Motor manufactured by the General Phonograph Corporation, 25 West 45th Street, New York. The bottom of the motor has the markings: 8 – 4 and P5609. NOTES: No crank. Long governor activator arm is not present. Good lubrication is necessary to loosen the aged/relaxed pivots and the crank pawl (which stops the crank from reversing).
