P-411 13-tooth brass gear on 3rd pinion (on pulley shaft closest to the governor) in Edison STANDARD cylinder phonograph. Contains setting screw. See photos. When the 13-tooth gear (located right next to the large pulley shaft gear) comes loose or cracks, it has to be replaced and set correctly to mesh with the upper gear that drives it. Often the shaft is filed a bit to allow the set screw to be locked in place to avoid slipping.[1604]
