R-399 UNIVERSAL 78’s REPRODUCER AND TONE ARM

R-399 UNIVERSAL 78’s REPRODUCER AND TONE ARM. Unknown brand. This is an excellent, original reproducer / tone arm combination that can play ALL makes of disc records using the correct needles and reproducer setting (setting instructions are included).

The reproducer and tone arm have been completely cleaned, overhauled and tested.  The sound reproduction is FANTASTIC! There are NO broken parts and NO frozen joints. All parts rotate as necessary.  The NEEDLE PRESSURE against a record is ADJUSTABLE (a rare feature) with a slotted dial at the back top of the tone arm. The reproducer may be set to play common 78’s (with steel needles such as N-105, or others). It can be rotated to play Edison diamond disc records (with special needles such as N-120) and Pathe hill-and-dale records (with special “ball” needles such as N-119).  The back base has three screw holes and must fit in a 2⅜ inch diameter opening.

It is RARE to find an original 100-years old reproducer / tone arm combination in this great condition.
